My Exit Strategy

1) As the sheer nature of my business requires a very large scale project in order for it to succeed, i believe it would take me a long time to grow the business. Because of this i believe that it will take me longer than five years, and in that amount of time i would like to hold onto my business. My company will be centered arount savving the earth by eliminating paper waste, and i believe that if it is bought out by a larger multinational corporation then it will lose its integrity and become only something to make these companies profit. For that reason I want to stick with my business until retirement, and then hand it off to a suitable heir.
2) I have selected this stratagy for the reasons I stated above. I believe that I can best continue to carry out the vision and mission of this company, rather than have it run by people who only want to turn a profit from it.
3) This exit stratagy influences me thusly, I can now implement my vision for what i would like the company to be in the future. All of my next steps that I have planned out throughout this course can be implemented and the company can grow as a green corporation.

  2. Hi Nahel, I really enjoyed your blog post. I thought it was really interesting how much thought you put into it. I think you made the right decision by standing by the business you put so much time into growing. Your company has the potential to do a lot of good and selling it to some company might prevent that.

  3. Hi Nahel! I enjoyed reading your post and one thing in particular stuck out to me. I think it's so great that you want to keep your business due to how huge corporations act. I feel as though most people don't realize that they don't truly care about the concept of the business as a whole, but only care about making even more money. Your business is a great idea and I think it's very smart to pass it on to someone who you believe will take the best care of it! Sorry I can't share my post with you, I didn't complete this assignment in time, but keep up the great work!

  4. Hey Nahel,
Your business sounds very extensive and I agree with you it will probably take 5 years or more to accomplish it. I also agree with you that if you sell your business, the new owner might take your business in a direction you never envisioned. I also wanted to hold on to my business. You should check out my blog here's a link.

  5. Hey Nahel! :D

Your business idea sounds so great! I really enjoy your blog and I really enjoyed reading this post! I think its great that you decided to stay by your business! I think you're right that if you send other people to run your company, you will not like the way it is run, and it won't be the way you wanted it to be.
